Our Community

Celebrating Community

Our employees routinely throw their support behind community organizations. We recently helped out at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois by providing a meal, among other things, and participated in a walk to benefit the Sangamon County Animal Control.  Our annual Days of Action for United Way took us to the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield and to Johnson Park Place in Springfield where we built four raised garden beds for genHkids.

Paw-li-days Underway

INB employees are spending the last few weeks of the year supporting the Sangamon County Animal Control Center, The Humane Society of Logan County, the Vermilion County Animal Shelter and Wish Bone Canine Rescue in the Bloomington-Normal area. All branches and departments are participating by placing items from the organizations' wish lists under our Christmas trees.

Support from our customers and the community is always appreciated. You can drop your donation off at the branch location nearest you.

Here's what the shelters need:

  • Dogs and pups:
  • Collars of all sizes and colors
  • Leashes
  • Frontline Plus for dogs (any weight)
  • Heavy duty dog toys. ie. Kongs or other rubber toys.  No balls, please.

  • Cat toys (jingle balls, large mice, foil balls, etc.)
  • Nail clippers (human type; many cats prefer those)
  • Feline Advantage Flea

Cash donations will be pooled together to purchase larger items on the lists.

Join Us with Your Big Heart as We Make and Collect Little Hats

There’s nothing cuter than a newborn. To remind us that heart health is important from the day we’re born, Illinois National Bank is sponsoring the American Heart Association’s Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign in Sangamon County.
