Diane Kindred helps a customer with a deposit.
Diane Kindred handed a deposit receipt to a military service member at INB’s North Branch as she finished his transaction on Monday morning – and with it, she included a thank you card expressing gratitude for his business.
“It’s Customer Appreciation Week, and we want to thank you,” she told him with a smile.
At INB branches across central Illinois, Customer Appreciation Events are going on every day this week. In addition to receiving notes of appreciation on Monday, the customers of INB’s branch on Dirksen Parkway were also able to stop at Sangamon County Clerk Don Gray’s mobile vital records unit.
The county clerk’s team was helping customers apply for a marriage or business license and obtain birth or death certificates.
“This is a new service we’re trying out, to move away from the brick and mortar so we can bring our services directly to people,” Don Gray said. “We’re always looking to provide excellent customer service, and no one provides that better than INB. We’re grateful to partner with them.”
County Clerk Don Gray and his staff were ready to provide birth and death certificates and marriage licenses.
The vital records mobile unit will also be at Montvale on Tuesday, Chatham on Wednesday and Pleasant Plains on Thursday, and Riverton on Friday – all from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The clerk’s mobile tour will conclude at Wabash on Saturday, October 21, from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Additionally, the bank is also holding Shred Events, where customers can bring documents they need to be shredded, as well as gatherings for those who want to knit or crochet hats for the Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign.
“It’s wonderful to be able to let our customers know that we appreciate their loyalty,” said Donna Smith, vice president and manager of INB’s North Branch. “When we first opened the branch, Wal-mart and a motorcycle shop were the only other buildings this far west on Dirksen, so we have built up a very dedicated customer base, and without them, we wouldn’t be here today.”
